Ferro silicon prices were unmoved as demand continued to remain steady.
Ferro silicon market in Bhutan was relatively steady and prices remain unchanged. Producer sources reported of good demand from buyers. SteelMint assessed ferro silicon (70-75) is being traded at around INR 58,000/MT (Ex-Bhutan).
In the exports markets Bhutanese producers are offering ferro silicon at around USD 900/MT FoB Kolkata.
Domestic Ferro Silicon Prices Steady
In line with steady prices in Bhutan, Indian producers have also kept their offers firm. Current price of ferro silicon (70-75) is around INR 56,000/MT (Ex-Guwahati). Indian producers reported of decent buying activity from domestic users. A ferro silicon producer source said “I expect the price of ferro silicon to remain steady in this month, as there is limited but regular demand.”
SteelMint assessed that the ferro silicon market is to remain steady and not much change is expected in terms of prices and market conditions.
