KIOCL Intends to Purchase Around 50,000 MT Iron Ore Fines

State owned, KIOCL has recently invited short notice tender for purchase of maximum quantity of 50,000 MT iron ore fines from indigenous sources for use in pellet plant at Mangalore.

The respective material needed will be on “Total Delivered Cost” basis and must carry Fe 63.5%. Material carrying below Fe 63.5% will be rejected.

The required quantity of iron ore fines will be used for manufacturers of pellets meant for exports. The movement of material via railways is not allowed. The material has to be delivered by trucks only.

Interested bidders can supply a minimum quantity of 5,000 MT DMT or in multiples of it upto a maximum quantity of 50,000 MT. Bidders can submit their quotations only in INR on “Total Delivered Cost” basis at Pellet plant, Mangalore stock yard basis. Prices quoted should be inclusive of all the taxes statutory levies except VAT/CST.

Last date of submission of bids will be 15 Mar’16 till 14:00 hrs.
