Malaysia: OM Holdings’ manganese alloys output rises 12% q-o-q in Q2FY’25

OM Holdings recorded manganese alloys output at 84,037 t in Q2FY’25 (Apr-Jun’24), up 12% q-o-q.
However, ferro silicon production inched down by 3% q-o-q to 48,268 t.
Sales volumes inched up by 9% q-o-q for ferro silicon and manganese alloys rose by 25%. The growth in sales was driven by efficient bulk vessel scheduling that enabled the clearance of surplus inventory by the end of Jun’24.
