As per Japan Metal Daily, Exports of aluminium scrap to China, excluding pressed cans, have dropped sharply for two months due to stricter standards and exporter caution. High-purity scrap still exports smoothly, while other types are being sent to Thailand, Malaysia, and Hong Kong for processing. Domestic processing is rising. Exports to China fell 40% in May and 30% in June, reaching a 1.5-year low.
