NMDC has announced that its Kumaraswamy mines in Karnataka will auction 224,000 t of iron ore on 3 Aug’24. Of the total quantity, 176,000 t are fines (Fe 59.5-64.42%) and 48,000 t are lumps (10-40 mm, Fe 64.042%) . In its previous auction on 20 Jul’24, 128,000 t lumps (10-40 mm, Fe 61.34-63.34%) and 124,000 t fines (Fe 58-62.74%) were booked at INR 4,705-5,309/t and INR 3,659-4,171/t, respectively (including royalty, DMF and NMET).
