India’s primary aluminium producers have decreased ingot (P1020, 99.7%) prices by INR 1,250/t ($15/t) today in comparison with 26 Jul’24 levels. Balco prices are at INR 221,250/t ($2,643/t). Primary players are pushing down aluminum prices, causing a sustained LME decline. All prices are ex-works and exclude GST. At the time of reporting, aluminium futures on LME stood at $2,231/t.
