Iron ore fines (Fe 62%) spot prices edged down by $0.50/t d-o-d to $101.45/t CFR China on 29 Jul’24. Prices were under pressure following planned maintenance for some blast furnaces amid weak steel mill margins and growing uncertainty in market demand due to heavy rain. Discounts remained wide due to the accumulated supply and lack of demand.
