Taiwan: CSC’s steel sales rise 3% y-o-y in Jan-Jun’24

In Jan-Jun’24, steel sales volumes of Taiwan’s leading steelmaker China Steel Corporation (CSC) rose by 3% y-o-y to 3.96 mnt against 3.85 mnt in Jan-Jun’23. However, the company’s steel sales edged down by 1% y-o-y to 642,263 t in Jun compared to 647,556 t in the same month of last year. Moreover, sales dropped by 2% m-o-m against 657,357 in May.
