Aperam, a leading global stainless steel producer, has recently announced austenitic flat product surcharges for Aug’24 sales. Most traded 304 (1.4301) grade prices are at euro 2,160/t ($2,344/t), down by euro 116/t ($126/t) from euro 2,276/t ($2,470/t) in Jul’24. Aperam has over 2.5 mnt/year of flat stainless steel production capacity with facilities in Europe, South America, and Asia.
