Global aluminium production fell 3% m-o-m in Jun’24: IAI

According to latest data from the International Aluminium Institute (IAI), aluminium production in Jun’24 has decreased reaching 5.940 mnt, marking a 3% m-o-m drop. Similarly, production rose 3% y-o-y from 5.757 mnt in June 2023. Notably, China, as the primary aluminium producer, accounted for 3.530 mnt, indicating a 3% decrease from the preceding month’s 3.650 mnt.
