- Steel & foundry grade Pig Iron prices witnessed no movement across the country during the current week as producers are maintaining prices on decent sales.
- Producers in Jharsuguda, Rourkela and Raigarh resumed operations due to improvement in buying interest.
- RINL is to decide on the Pig Iron export tender bid fetched below $410/MT FOB by a single buyer on Oct 26.
- In conversation with SteelMint, senior officials at Mesco Steel & Jayaswal Neco Ind Ltd pointed out, “Looking at present demand in market, offers should not slip from current levels and might rise by around Rs 500/MT in November”.
