India: Competitive Bidding received in RSP Pig Iron Auction amid strong demand

SAIL-Rourkela Steel Plant (RSP) held an auction for 2,000 t of steel grade pig iron on 16 July’24. The total quantity was booked at an average price of INR 38,200/t exw. The last auction was conducted for 4,000 t of steel grade pig iron on 6 July’24. The entire quantity was booked at an average price of INR 36,450/t exw.
