Sponge iron export offers declined by $8-10/t, despite increased buying activity observed from Bangladesh and Nepal at varying offers this week;
- Export offers for Nepal dropped to $345/t CPT Raxaul, with deals recorded for about 1,000 t of CDRI and 5,000 t of PDRI w-o-w.
- Offers for Bangladesh decreased to $357/t CPT Benapole, with approximately 12,000 t of deals reported this week as offers were lowered in anticipation of increased buying.
