South Korea: POSCO schedules maintenance at Gwangyang thick plate mill in late-Jul’24

POSCO is currently performing scheduled maintenance across its Gwangyang Steel mill. After hot and cold rolling mills, the thick plate mill with 2 mnt production capacity will undergo major repairs for two weeks from late-Jul’24 to mid-Aug. Meanwhile, other domestic steel producers like Hyundai Steel are also planning maintenance at their hot and cold rolling mills starting Sep.
