Ship-breaking melting scrap prices in Gujarat’s Alang market rose by INR 400/t d-o-d on 10 Jul’24, as per BigMint’s assessment. HMS (80:20) prices were assessed at INR 35,200/t ($422/t) exy. Trade activities in semi-finished and finished steel increased in the late hours of yesterday’s trading session in the region. Additionally, decent buying inquiries for scrap, prompted suppliers to increase their offers today.
