India: Around 19,000 t iron ore fetches bids in NMDC’s Chhattisgarh auction

NMDC conducted around 92,000 t auctions from its Bacheli and Kirandul mines in Chhattisgarh on 6 July.

• Bacheli: Around 12,900 t DRCLO (Fe 67%) was booked at 1% premium on floor prices while 6,000 t Baila lumps (10-20mm, Fe 65.5%) received 0.5% premium by the steelmakers. However, 43,000 t fines (Fe 64%) remained unsold.
• Kirandul: 30,100 t of ROM (10-150mm, Fe 65.5%) remained unsold. Prices were on FOR, ex-stockpile/mines basis, including royalty, DMF and NMET.
