India: Sponge iron export offers decline further by $10-13/t w-o-w for Nepal, Bangladesh

BigMint’s weekly assessment for sponge iron export offers indicated a further decline this week by $10-13/t, despite increased buying activity observed from Bangladesh at varying offers. However, no buying activity was recorded for Nepal this week, with export prices dropping to $350/t CPT Raxaul for FeM 80% (70:30 mix). Approximately 17,500 t of sponge iron deals were tracked for Bangladesh this week, between $360-$367/t CPT Benapole.
