China: Steel billet prices remain stable d-o-d

Billet prices in Tangshan remained stable d-o-d at RMB 3,300/t ($454/t) on 27 Jun’24. Prices include 13% VAT.
Supportive raw material sentiments and stability in finished steel prices have kept billet prices supported. However, lower trades continued to persist in the market.
SHFE rebar futures (Oct’24 delivery) decreased d-o-d by RMB 28/t ($4/t) to RMB 3,535/t ($486/t) on 27 Jun’24.
