China: Iron ore spot prices rise d-o-d by $3/t amid macroeconomic inputs

Iron ore fines (Fe 62%) spot prices increased by $3/t d-o-d to $106.75/t CFR China on 26 Jun’24. Despite cautious demand, prices saw a significant rise following positive macroeconomic news. As per report, the Ministry of Natural Resources is actively looking into ways to aid local governments in recovering and procuring vacant land for housing developments.
