Vedanta has scheduled an auction for 12,000 t (6-20 mm, Fe 52.5%) and 8,000 t (10-40 mm, Fe 52.5%) of iron ore siliceous lumps (low Al, high silica) from its A.Narrain Mines, Karnataka. The auction will be held on 24 Jun’24. The floor price is yet to be declared. In its previous auction on 15 Jun, 44,000 t of siliceous lumps were booked at INR 2,330/t (excluding royalty, DMF, NMET).
