BigMint’s weekly price assessment indicated a sharp decline in sponge iron export offers by $22-31/t w-o-w, due to weak demand from global spot markets this week.
- Export offers for Nepal dropped to $360/t CPT Raxaul, with deals recorded about 1,000 t of CDRI and 1,500 t of PDRI on a w-o-w basis.
- Offers for Bangladesh decreased to $375/t CPT Benapole, only 2,000 t of deals were reported this week as participants were inactive amid Eid holidays.
