Ship-breaking melting scrap prices in Alang, Gujarat, remained stable d-o-d on 17 Jun’24. HMS (80:20) prices were at INR 37,700/t ($451/t) ex-yard. According to sources, due to Eid festival today, trade activities will be limited. This, combined with restricted trading in semi-finished and finished steel during the last trading session, has prompted scrap suppliers to keep their offers stable today.
