Rungta Mines Ltd, one of the largest private miner (in terms of production) in the country has kept its prices unchanged for domestic market.
Sources tell that with Shah commission probing into illegal mining in the state no fresh permissions have been grated, therefore miners have kept their prices unchanged.
Current offers for 65% Fe 5-18mm stands at Rs 7,650/t (F.O.R Siding) and 63% Fe 5-18mm stands at Rs 7,250/t (F.O.R Siding).
On the contrary KJS Ahluwalia, another miner based in Barbil, Odisha have cut prices by Rs 200-400/t, although sources say their prices were already high and it will not have much impact in the market.
