Indian silico manganese prices have experienced a downtrend due to restricted buyer acceptance of initially high offers this week. Additionally, subdued export demand has added to the downward pressure on prices. Producers have responded by lowering their offers by INR 1,500-2,000/t (USD 18-24/t). BigMint’s assessment places SiMn (60-14) at INR 91,800-92,200/t exw (USD 1,100-1,106/t), although buyers are pushing for even lower prices, seeking quotes around INR 88,000-89,000/t exw in Raipur.
