Ship-breaking melting scrap prices in Gujarat’s Alang market fell by INR 300/t ($3.6/t) d-o-d on 7 Jun’24, according to BigMint’s assessment, HMS (80:20) prices were assessed at INR 38,700/t ($464/t) exy. Semi-finished steel prices fell by INR 300/t in the region in yesterday’s trading session along with moderate trade activities in scrap prompted suppliers to reduce their offers today.
