Ukrainian steel mill Zaporizhstal has released its production figures for May’24.
- Steel production increased by 13% y-o-y to 240,200 t. In May, steel output decreased by 13.7% m-o-m.
- Pig iron output increased by 4.5% y-o-y to 240,000 t in May. However, output declined by 9.4% m-o-m.
- Production of rolled products saw a 13% y-o-y increase to 204,000 t. M-o-m, output edged down by 11.1% in May.
