At NMDC’s auction for 236,000 t of iron ore on 30 May’24 from Karnataka
- 92,000 t lumps (10-40 mm, Fe 59.12-62.37%) was booked at INR 5,132-5,981/t against the base price of INR 4,482-5,281/t
- 144,000 t fines (Fe 58-62.73%) was booked at INR 3,645-5,276/t against the base price of INR 3,625-4,636/t. (ex-mines including royalty, DMF and NMET).
- Bids for lumps and fines rose by INR 700/t and 640/t, respectively.
