Pellet (Fe63%) prices in Bellary, Karnataka remained stable at INR 10,550/t exw on 31 May’24 compared to 28 May. Deals of around 36,000 t were concluded at INR 10,200-10,700/t during this period. Need-based buying was seen and stability in sponge prices supported pellet prices in the region. Sponge iron (P-DRI) prices remained largely stable at INR 27,850/t exw today.
