SeAH Changwon Special Steel increased stainless steel wire prices in June by KRW 200,000/t ($145/t), citing the rise in LME nickel prices. This marks the third consecutive monthly price hike, totaling KRW 500,000/t ($363/t) in the second quarter. Nickel prices rose by $1,238/t in May, reflecting a trend of steady increases since Feb, while ferro chrome prices also climbed by 5.6% in the second quarter.
