National Mineral Development Corporation (NMDC)- state controlled miner has rolled over its prices for Feb’16. This is for the 2nd consecutive month that the miner has kept prices unchanged. In the month of Jan’16 also the miner had rolled over its prices.

NMDC supplied 73 rakes of iron ore in Jan’16 to Chhattisgarh based plants from its Bailadila mines unlike 69 rakes in Dec’15. However, procurement from outside Chhattisgarh units dropped from 155 rakes in Dec’15 to 125 rakes in Jan’16.
Iron ore exports of NMDC remained almost stable against Dec’15 and stood at 0.29 MnT in Jan’16.
NMDC’s iron ore sales via Karnataka e-auction have fallen by around 38% in Jan’16. NMDC sold 0.77 MnT iron ore in Jan’16 against 1.25 MnT iron ore in Dec’15.
