Vedanta Limited had an auction for 20,000 t of iron ore lumps from its A.Narrain Mines, Karnataka, on 24 May’24. According to sources, 16,000 t lumps (6-20 mm, Fe 54%) got booked at INR 3,510/t against the base price of INR 3,500/t and 4,000 t lumps (6-20 mm, Fe 55%) got booked at the base price of INR 3,700/t. Price is on ex-mines/ex-lot basis and exclusive of royalty, DMF and NMET.
