South African iron ore lump (Fe 64%) import offers increased by $5/t w-o-w to $129/t CNF Kandla on 22 May’24. However, inquiries from India remained negligible as mills got cheaper pellet offers and lumps in the domestic market against imported material. Benchmark Fe 62% fines index rose by $6/t w-o-w to $121/t CFR China on 20 May.
