SAIL-Salem Steel Plant (SSP) concluded a reverse auction for 3,000 t of high-carbon (HC) ferro chrome (Cr: 57-63%, C: 5-8%, 10-150 mm) on 20 May’24. The total material was booked at around INR 113,100/t FOR (excluding GST and GEM portal charges). BigMint assessed HC ferro chrome (Cr: 60%, C: 8.5%, 10-150 mm) prices at INR 106,500/t exw-Jajpur on 22 May’24.
