Pellet (Fe 63%) prices in Bellary, Karnataka remained stable at INR 10,550/t exw on 21 May’24 compared to 17 May. Deals of around 7,000 t were concluded at INR 10,400-10,500/t during this period. Lower trading activities were seen and stability in sponge iron prices in the region have supported pellet prices. Notably, sponge (P-DRI) prices remained stable w-o-w at INR 28,000/t exw today.
