Shah commission's report will decide the fate on iron ore industry in Odisha

Justice MB Shah's commission, who is probing illegal mining in the state of Odisha might submit its report to the government by October end. Market experts see fate of iron ore industry will depend on its report.

Shah commission had probed alleged illegal mining in Karnataka and Goa, resulting either closure of mining activities or restricting supplies.

Sources tell that Odisha miners are not in a comfortable stage and report by shah commission might not be favorable for the industry.

Although commission is likely to visit Odisha again sometime in November before it can submit its final report.

Above that Odisha state government has objected renewal of mining lease who do not have captive consumption. Looking at above scenario industry is sure not to have a good time.
