Ship-breaking melting scrap prices in Gujarat’s Alang market decreased by INR 200/t d-o-d on 13 May’24. According to BigMint’s assessment, HMS (80:20) prices stand at INR 38,500/t ex-yard. Semi-finished steel prices declined by INR 400/t in the yesterday’s trading session in the region, along with slow trade activities in scrap prompted suppliers to reduce their offers today.
