NMDC conducted auction for 24,000 t of iron ore on 8 May’24 from its Donimalai mines.
- 4,000 t lumps (10-40 mm, Fe 54%) was sold at INR 3,701/t against base price of INR 3,281/t.
- 20,000 t fines (Fe 54%) was booked at INR 2,841/t against base price of INR 2,821/t FOR, ex-stockpile/mines basis, including royalty, DMF and NMET.
- Notably, bid prices for lumps were higher by INR 420/t.
