RINL extends the 30,000 tons steel grade Pig Iron exports tender date to the 26th of Oct as there was no response from international buyers on the 3rd and 15th Oct, confirmed a senior official.
“We are anticipating some good response this time i.e. above $410/MT. Last deal was concluded at US$410/MT FOB Vizag Port. We may either shift the date again or might cancel the tender if response is not up to our profit margin”, he added.
About domestic market, he said that Pig Iron is being traded at Rs 24,500/MT (Basic) and some discount is also offered.
