SAIL has issued a purchase tender for 100 t of low carbon (LC) ferro chrome (Cr:60%, C: 0.1% max, size: 10-30 mm) for its Alloy Steel Plant (ASP) based in Durgapur, West Bengal. The last date for submission of bids is 27 May’24 and the bid offer is valid for 45 days from the end date. BigMint assessed ferro chrome (LC 60%, 10-60mm) prices at INR 239,500/t exw-Durgapur on 2 May’24.
