Last week, even with a slight decline in imported scrap prices in Vietnam, demand remained subdued. US-origin HMS (80:20) was offered at $385-390/t CFR Vietnam, while Japanese H2 bulk scrap ranged from $378-382/t CFR. In Vietnam’s domestic market, interest in long products remained low, with little expectation of significant price fluctuations due to Japan’s Golden Week holidays and Vietnam’s Labour Day celebrations.
