Iron ore miners in Goa are continuously seen exporting iron ore vessels to China. Apart from Vedanta other exporters who have come up with iron ore shipments to China this week include Royalline Resources and Bagadiya Brothers.
Two iron ore export vessels (Bulk Malaysia and CMB Medoc) of Vedanta carrying 93,500 MT and 85,000 MT respectively are currently at berth in Mormugao port. Vessel named Bulk Malaysia is likely to leave for China today. The other vessel “CMB Medoc” is expected to leave for China by 26 Jan’16. Deals of both the vessels carrying fines (Fe 57%) were concluded at USD 31/MT, CFR China.
As per a source, one more vessel of Vedanta named “Ocean Opal” carrying 78,300 MT iron ore fines is also in pipeline for export to China.
Another iron ore export vessel (Shandong Hai Tong) of Royalline Resources carrying 54,550 MT iron ore is at berth in Mormugao Port and is expected to leave for China on 26 Jan’16. Another vessel (CS Sonoma) of the same exporter carrying 55,250 MT iron ore is at anchorage currently.
Bagadiya Brothers’ iron ore export vessel namely “Jin Sui” carrying 55,100 MT iron ore is at berth in Mormugao Port currently and is likely to depart for China on 25 Jan’16.
