Ferro molybdenum prices in India saw an increase of INR 48,000/t ($576/t) w-o-w to INR 2,544,000/t ($30,516/t) exw-Nagpur on 3 May’24. The rise was majorly driven by heightened demand coming from China. Additionally, because of ongoing geopolitical concerns, molybdenum oxide shipments were delayed, which resulted in restricted supplies in the domestic market.
