Pig Iron production dropped to 90.04 million metric tons (mmt) across the globe in September 2012.
It is a marginal rise of 0.83% in comparison to the same month last year, states World Steel Association's (worldsteel) preliminary data.
Worldwide Pig Iron output moved up by 1.56% to 836.53 million metric from January to September 2012 as compared to the first nine months of the previous year.
