China’s met coke producers have accepted the second round of price hike on 22 Apr’24. Met coke prices in Hebei’s Tangshan were assessed at RMB 1,860/t ($257/t), an increase of RMB 100/t ($14/t) d-o-d. Prices rose due to rise in demand and limited supply, follows a previous rally of RMB 100/t continuing the upward trend since mid-April.
