India: Over 140,000 t of iron ore to be auctioned from Karnataka

  • Vedanta will conduct an auction for 56,000 t of iron ore lumps (10-40 mm, Fe 54-55%) on 22 Apr’24.
  • SKMEPL will auction 12,000 t of iron ore lumps (10-40 mm, Fe 53.1-60.2%) and 76,000 t of fines (Fe 51.50-63.10%) on 25 Apr. Floor prices for lumps and fines are INR 3,900-5,200/t and INR 2,500-5,800/t, respectively.
  • SKMEPL’s price include taxes unlike Vedanta’s.
