Pellet (Fe 63%) prices in Bellary, Karnataka, rose by INR 200/t to INR 10,700/t exw on 19 Apr’24 compared to 16 Apr. Deals of around 30,000 t were heard at INR 10,500-10,700/t exw. Active trade activities and rise in sponge prices supported pellet prices in the region. Meanwhile, sponge (P-DRI) prices increased by INR 1,250/t w-o-w to INR 28,000/t exw today.
