Steel Authority of India Ltd (SAIL) conducted an auction for 20,000 t of iron ore dump fines (Fe 60.23%) from its Bolani mines in Odisha on 18 Apr’24. According to sources, the entire quantity was booked at INR 3,780/t against the base price of INR 3,330/t. Notably, bid prices were higher by INR 450/t. Prices are on ex mines basis, including royalty, DMF, NMET and additional premium.
