Taiyuan Iron and Steel Corporation (TISCO) has increased its Apr’24 ferro chrome (HC 50%) purchase prices by RMB 500/t ($69/t) m-o-m to RMB 8,795/t ($1,215/t) DAP, including taxes. Delivery of the material is scheduled before 5 May’24. This move by TISCO mirrored the uptrend in tender prices observed in two other major stainless steel firms, Baosteel and Tsingshan.
