Export offers of hot-dipped galvanised iron (HDGI) coils (0.50 mm, 900-1,250 mm) fell by around $5/t w-o-w to $785/t FOB west coast, India from $790/t FOB a week ago. An Indian steel major has concluded a deal of around 10,000 t of HDGI at $830/t CFR Europe for late-May’24 delivery, informed a reliable source. Mills reduced offers amid recent deal and limited demand in the European market.
