“Iron Ore Pellets price is being quoted at Rs 8,200/MT (Ex works Jharsuguda, Odisha) for buyers interested to lift 2,000 tons of material.
We already have bookings placed for Pellets in good quantity previously due to which large quantity is not being offered as of now”, said an Iron Ore Pellets trader based at Jharsuguda.
He also remarked that the entire production of Pellets is being absorbed by market as demand is good.
According to the trader, “Pellets prices have settled at Rs 8,200/MT from the beginning of October and looking at the less supply of Iron Ore in the country, manufacturers of Pellets are expected to raise offers in the short term”.
